The Digital Camera Photographer of the Year competition is the leading contest for anyone with a passion for digital photography and is open to both amateur and professional photographers of any nationality. Its aim is to reveal the most inspirational and imaginative images, with the overall winner receiving £10,000 and being declared Digital Camera Photographer of the Year 2010.

See this year's best photos in POTY 2010. The shortlist for the portfolio category of Digital Camera Photographer of the Year 2010 is revealed exclusively on PhotoRadar.
What the judges are looking for in a Portfolio: "In this category we are looking for a small body of work (10 images). The theme is open and any subject will be considered, however, it's important the images with one another to form a coherant idea."

The portfolio winner receives a Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera with 18-135mm EF-S Lens along with an invitation to submit a body of work free of charge for a Licentiateship assessment with the Royal Photographic Society.
